Use the office that holds the O'Brien County record you need:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the O'Brien County Sheriff's Office at 240 1st Street NE in Primghar or call 712-957-3415
- Official Iowa history checks: order through the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Investigation
- Criminal records and rap sheets: use Iowa DCI's Criminal History Records and Identification Section
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement: begin with the clerk for the court that handled the case

Court files are held by the O'Brien County Clerk of Court on the second floor of the courthouse, 155 South Hayes Avenue, Primghar, IA 51245.
